Senior Full Stack Javascript Developer

We are a Winnipeg based tech company specialising in business-to-customer text communication. If you’ve ever texted a local business, they may have been texting with our software! We work with all sorts of different businesses across North America.

We are hiring a full-time full-stack web developer with experience building products with React and Express. We are growing fast and are looking for someone to help scale our systems.

We are a small team and as one of the early developers to join us, you have lots of room to grow within the company.

Responsibilities‍

Architect and build highly available and reliable Node/Express back-end systems
Develop performant front-end UIs and follow React best practices
Implement real-time socket.io communication and messaging solutions
Design and implement scalable API endpoints
Build test suites to ensure system reliability when deploying code as part of a CI/CD pipeline
Design and build MongoDB schemas
Help maintain code quality and documentation
Assess current technical setup and identify any deficiencies and recommend improvements
Set up monitoring solutions for front-end and back-end services
Provide technical guidance to junior developers

Qualifications‍

Strong Express.js knowledge
Strong React.js knowledge
Familiarity with React Native
Deep knowledge of restful API design and development
5 years experience building scalable web apps
Familiarity with MongoDB
Familiarity with AWS

Salary‍‍

Salary will correspond to experience - $90k / yr +
